What to expect
Starting from Sitia city we will head North West to the mountains we will pass the traditional settlement of “Sarantapihos” village, and then through a beautiful dirt road, we will reach Platani Beach. A hidden gem with a quick stop of 15 minutes for getting stretched and taking a few pictures.
Driving for some time through dirt roads we will end up at our final stop with great views. “Liopetro Castle”. Liopetro is built on an impressively steep hill with a panoramic view of all sides and the sea. At the top is built the temple of Prophet Elias, while parts of the walls, reservoirs, and other buildings are preserved.
We will gather from the wonderful view having the opportunity to take amazing photos. Right there your guides will prepare a local snack. The guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the famous drink of Crete (raki) with traditional delicacies.
